Licensee ANDREW FRANCIS PTY. LTD. Classes Builder - Open, Builder - Project Management Services SubbieList shows information from public licence registers as at the date shown. It is not legal advice and not an endorsement. The official register is the authority.
Reading a licence check A QBCC check shows whether a licence is on the register, who holds it and which classes of work it covers. In Queensland, most building work over $3,300 needs a QBCC licence in the right class.
What the classes mean Each class is a type of work, such as Concreting or Plumbing and Drainage. A licence only covers the classes listed. A roof plumber licensed for Roof and Wall Cladding can't do the drainage unless that class is also shown.
Licence classes explained
If something looks wrong If the name doesn't match, or the licence is missing from the register, pause before signing anything. Ask the business, then confirm with QBCC on 139 333.
Electrical work Electrical contractor licences come from the Electrical Safety Office, not QBCC. Where a business states an electrical licence on its website, we show it separately and say it has not been checked against the ESO register.
